6’7   –   315lbs

Strengths:

Andrus Peat is a former 5-star recruit out of Arizona, and the son of 7-year NFL tackle Todd Peat.  At 6’7, 315lbs, he’s got a well proportioned body that doesn’t look heavy in any area, and he’ll be one of the strongest OT prospects in this class.  While Brandon Scherff may have a narrow edge to be the first offensive lineman selected, Peat could surpass him.

He is an interesting player at left tackle because he seems to dominate more as a run blocker than as a pass blocker.  In the running game, he tilts forward and uses his huge body and mile-long arms to clear lanes.  His balance isn’t always flawless as he moves forward or across formations, but being the wrecking ball that he is, that might be OK.
